Summer shifts into high gear with the start of the Daytona Motorsports Summer Academy, July 12 – 30. Presented by the Center for Community & Professional Education at Daytona State College this summer academy is for gifted or high-achieving students in grades eight through 12. During three week-long sessions, students will use race engineering and technology on remote control cars 1/10th the scale of actual race cars.
